From a single pickup truck in 2003 to the most trusted name in Northeast Ohio tree care — meet the family behind the saws.
In 2003, Mike Kovach Sr. left a 15-year career as a city arborist with one used Bobcat, a climbing kit, and a phone number scribbled on the side of a Ford F-150. His promise to the first hundred customers in Parma was simple: do the work like the trees were yours, charge a fair price, and clean up after yourself.
Two decades later, that ethos still drives every job we accept. Today, Parma Tree Service is run by Mike Jr. and his sister Sara, with a crew of eight full-time technicians and three ISA-certified arborists on staff. We've added crane assist, modern stump grinders, and bucket trucks to the fleet — but the handshake hasn't changed.
We're proud to be the tree service Parma neighbors actually recommend by name, and we'd love the chance to earn that trust from you, too.
"To protect what matters most — your family, your home, your trees — through honest work, careful craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the urban forest we share. We believe great tree care is a quiet form of community service, and we're grateful to do it for our neighbors in Parma every day."
